How Much Does a New Set of Tires Cost in Millcreek?
Tire prices depend on size, brand, tread type and speed rating. A set for a compact sedan costs far less than all-terrain tires for a pickup, and winter tires or run-flats add cost. Installation, balancing, valve stems and disposal also factor in. Tell us your vehicle and how you drive, and we’ll quote good, better and best options side by side.
We keep our prices competitive and upfront: you get an estimate and approve it before any work starts.
What Millcreek Drivers Say
“These folks have cared for my cars for years and I highly recommend them. Their quality is very good and they are very good listeners to work with. I highly recommend.”

“I’ve been coming to Millcreek automotive for a long time. They were always fair honest and has always done a good job. I came in recently and was shocked that they changed ownership. Only to learn that they haven’t really changed. They still have the same employees. They just spruced up the place a bit. Good mechanics are hard to find and would definitely recommend this place”

Keep your vehicle safe and sound
Worn tires are the fastest way to lose grip on wet or icy Salt Lake County roads. Book a tire check or call 801-905-8190.
Signs You Need New Tires
It’s easy to check your own tires. Replace them if you see:
- Tread worn to 2/32 inch (Lincoln’s head visible on a penny)
- Bulges or blisters on the sidewall
- Cracks in the sidewall or tread from age or dry heat
- Uneven wear on one edge or in patches
- Vibration or shaking at highway speeds
- Less grip or sliding on wet or snowy roads
- Tires more than six years old, regardless of tread
Shaking doesn’t always mean new tires. It can be a balance or rotation issue, and we’ll check that before recommending a new set.
How Often Should You Rotate and Replace Tires?
Good habits add thousands of miles to a set of tires:
- Check pressure monthly, especially when Utah temperatures swing. The correct PSI is on the driver’s door jamb sticker.
- Rotate every 5,000–8,000 miles, or at every other oil change.
- Swap to winter tires before the first snow if you drive Millcreek Canyon. A separate winter set also makes your all-seasons last longer.
- Drive smoothly. Hard launches, fast corners and heavy braking wear tread faster.
