Master AutoTech Bountiful does conventional, synthetic blend, high-mileage and full synthetic oil changes for drivers in Bountiful, North Salt Lake and Woods Cross, just off US-89. Every oil change includes a multi-point inspection and fluid top-offs, and we’re open Saturdays.
Our bays are on Highway 89 near 1000 North, just south of 2600 South where Bountiful, North Salt Lake and Woods Cross meet, a two-minute walk from Smith’s on 2600 South and half a mile from I-15 Exit 315. Every visit follows the same three steps:
- Consultation. We look up your vehicle’s requirements and recommend the right oil and filter for how you drive.
- Oil & filter replacement. We drain the old oil, replace the filter and refill with fresh oil to the correct level.
- Multi-point inspection. A complimentary check of the items below, so small problems get caught early.

How Often Should You Change Your Oil?
Engine oil lubricates moving parts, reduces friction and carries heat and dirt away. Over time it breaks down and protects less, which leads to wear, lost performance and eventually engine damage, so changing it on schedule is one of the cheapest ways to make an engine last.
Follow your owner’s manual first. As a rule, most vehicles need an oil change every 3,000 to 7,500 miles, or at least once a year even if you don’t drive much. Short trips in Davis County winters, towing, and dusty summer driving count as severe service and shorten the interval.

You’ll find us on Highway 89 near 1000 North, just south of 2600 South where Bountiful, North Salt Lake and Woods Cross meet. North of 2600 South, the same road becomes Bountiful’s Main Street, so we’re a straight shot from downtown Bountiful, and I-15 Exit 315 is about half a mile west on 2600 South. Downtown Salt Lake City is roughly nine miles south. Look for the red Master AutoTech building on Highway 89.
