Master AutoTech South Salt Lake services hybrid and electric vehicles for drivers across South Salt Lake, Millcreek and central Salt Lake County. We handle the everyday systems every EV and hybrid still depends on: brakes, air conditioning, tires, steering, suspension and alignments. Repairs are backed by our 12-month / 12,000-mile warranty*.
What we don’t work on: high-voltage battery packs and related high-voltage components. For battery work we’ll point you to your dealer, and we can still handle the rest of your vehicle’s service.

EVs skip oil changes, but they still need regular care. Because they’re heavier than gas cars, tires and suspension take more of a beating.

We’re a family-owned shop that treats every vehicle like it belongs to a neighbor. Master AutoTech started as Master Muffler in 1963 and grew into Utah’s largest auto repair franchise, and our giant mascot sign has watched over State Street for years. You’ll find us on State Street just north of 3900 South, with Main Street a few blocks west and 300 East a few blocks east. I-15 is a short drive west, and the Meadowbrook TRAX station is about half a mile away on 3900 South. Look for the red storefront and the giant sign, and pull into our lot on State Street.

- From I-15: Take the 3300 South or 4500 South exit east to State Street, then head to 3900 South; we’re on the east side just north of the light.
- By TRAX: Ride to Meadowbrook station and head east on 3900 South, about half a mile.
