How Much Does a New Set of Tires Cost in Orem?
Tire prices depend on size, brand, tread type and speed rating. A set for a compact sedan costs far less than all-terrain tires for a pickup, and winter tires or run-flats add cost. Installation, balancing, valve stems and disposal also factor in. Tell us your vehicle and how you drive, and we’ll quote good, better and best options side by side.
We keep our prices competitive and upfront: you get an estimate and approve it before any work starts.
What Orem Drivers Say
“I took my van in last week with a couple of issues. This was the best experience I have had with them. They communicated very well. They were friendly and informative. They were easy to work with… Maybe one of the best experiences I have had with any mechanic.”
Jason McCune
“Master Muffler got me in when I thought my muffler needed to be replaced. When I arrived for my appointment they got my truck in within minutes, put it on the lift and the technician saw the problem. It was a quick fix with a weld to put two pipes back together. I paid and was on my way in 20 minutes. I was so pleased that there was no upselling. My truck is quiet again, the cost was reasonable and I was treated so well. I will be back.”
Shauna Hatch
“This is a shop that values their craft and respects their clients. I worked with Chet and found him to be very personable and professional. The technicians are fast and thorough. They are reasonable with their billing and charge for a fair amount of labor. The waiting area is clean and comfortable. I was incredibly impressed. 100% will be my regular shop and I will be recommending this place to my friends.”

Keep your vehicle safe and sound
Worn tires are the fastest way to lose grip on wet or icy Utah County roads. Book a tire check or call 801-228-0045.
Signs You Need New Tires
It’s easy to check your own tires. Replace them if you see:
- Tread worn to 2/32 inch (Lincoln’s head visible on a penny)
- Bulges or blisters on the sidewall
- Cracks in the sidewall or tread from age or dry heat
- Uneven wear on one edge or in patches
- Vibration or shaking at highway speeds
- Less grip or sliding on wet or snowy roads
- Tires more than six years old, regardless of tread
Shaking doesn’t always mean new tires. It can be a balance, rotation or alignment issue, and we’ll check that before recommending a new set.
How Often Should You Rotate and Replace Tires?
Good habits add thousands of miles to a set of tires:
- Check pressure monthly, especially when Utah temperatures swing. The correct PSI is on the driver’s door jamb sticker.
- Rotate every 5,000–8,000 miles, or at every other oil change.
- Align with new tires, and after hitting a pothole or curb.
- Swap to winter tires before the first snow if you drive Provo Canyon. A separate winter set also makes your all-seasons last longer.
- Drive smoothly. Hard launches, fast corners and heavy braking wear tread faster.
