• ShocksDampen bumps and body movement. Replaced in pairs when they leak, rattle or clunk.
• StrutsA shock and spring in one structural part. Leaks, noise or a bouncy ride mean a new pair.
• SpringsCarry the vehicle’s weight. Sagging or broken coils change ride height and handling.
• Ball jointsThe pivot points your wheels steer on. We check for torn boots and looseness.
• Control armsConnect the wheels to the body and hold alignment. We look for bends and worn bushings.
• Bushings & sway bar linksAbsorb vibration and limit body roll, and a common source of clunks when worn.

Cost depends on whether your vehicle has shocks, struts or both, how many need replacing, and the parts you choose. Struts usually cost more than shocks because they’re a structural part of the suspension, and we replace them in pairs so the car handles evenly. An alignment is usually needed after strut replacement. We inspect first and quote the full job, alignment included, before any work begins.
