Master AutoTech Downtown SLC services hybrid and electric vehicles for drivers across downtown and central Salt Lake City. We handle the everyday systems every EV and hybrid still depends on: brakes, air conditioning, tires, steering, suspension and alignments. Repairs are backed by our 12-month / 12,000-mile warranty*.
What we don’t work on: high-voltage battery packs and related high-voltage components. For battery work we’ll point you to your dealer, and we can still handle the rest of your vehicle’s service.
EV and hybrid owners across Salt Lake City can reach us easily: we’re on Main Street just north of 700 South, a block from the 600 South TRAX station, a block from State Street and one block south of 600 South, the downtown connector to I-15.

EVs skip oil changes, but they still need regular care. Because they’re heavier than gas cars, tires and suspension take more of a beating.

We’re a family-owned shop that treats every vehicle like it belongs to a neighbor. Master AutoTech started as Master Muffler in 1963 and grew into Utah’s largest auto repair franchise, and this downtown location served Salt Lake City as Master Muffler & Brake before the rebrand. You’ll find us on Main Street just north of 700 South, a block from the 600 South TRAX station, with West Temple one block west and State Street one block east. 600 South, one block north, connects downtown with I-15. Look for the big Master AutoTech sign and pull into our lot on Main Street.
