Master AutoTech Downtown Ogden services hybrid and electric vehicles for drivers across downtown Ogden and the north end. We handle the everyday systems every EV and hybrid still depends on: brakes, air conditioning, tires, steering, suspension and alignments. Repairs are backed by our 12-month / 12,000-mile warranty*.
What we don’t work on: high-voltage battery packs and related high-voltage components. For battery work we’ll point you to your dealer, and we can still handle the rest of your vehicle’s service.
EV and hybrid owners across downtown Ogden and the north end can reach us easily: we’re on Washington Boulevard at 20th Street, a short drive from I-15.
Signs Your EV or Hybrid Needs Service
Electric and hybrid vehicles have fewer moving parts, but they still give warning signs:
- Squealing, grinding or a soft brake pedal
- Brake warning light on the dash
- AC blowing warm or cabin heat not working
- Uneven tire wear (EVs are heavy and wear tires faster)
- The vehicle pulls to one side or the steering wheel is off-center
- Clunks, bouncing or a rough ride over bumps
EV & Hybrid Services We Offer
Brakes
Pads, rotors, calipers and brake fluid, with regenerative braking in mind.
Air conditioning
AC performance checks, leak diagnosis and recharge so the cabin stays comfortable.
Tires
New tires, rotations and flat repair for heavy EVs and hybrids.
Steering & suspension
Shocks, struts, control arms and steering components inspected and repaired.
Wheel alignment
Alignment checks and adjustment to protect your tires and keep the car tracking straight.
How Often Should You Service an EV or Hybrid?
EVs skip oil changes, but they still need regular care. Because they’re heavier than gas cars, tires and suspension take more of a beating.
| Service | Typical interval |
|---|---|
| Tire rotation | Every 5,000–7,500 miles |
| Brake inspection | At least once a year |
| Brake fluid | Every 2 years (check your owner’s manual) |
| Alignment check | Once a year, or after hitting a pothole or curb |
| AC performance check | Before summer |

What Ogden Drivers Say
“I manage the 4WP in Ogden and we use this Master Muffler for all of our referrals. I recently had them put a performance muffler on an old SUV that I am restoring and they nailed it. We consulted and went with a plan that worked and I am very happy with the results. Will most definitely use them again.”
Brad Ashton
“These guys really helped me out. Went in for a catalytic converter replacement, which isn’t cheap these days. Gave me a bid, and actually came back after starting the work to tell me they could save me a bit of money with a different cat and a bit of welding. The mechanics in the shop are decent guys. Definitely give them a go.”
Brendon G Ehmann
“These guys were quick. Did a great job. And friendly.”
