1. Bring your vehicle and registration renewal notice. The test is tied to your VIN and plate.
2. We connect to your vehicle’s computer. On 1996 and newer vehicles, the test reads the on-board diagnostic (OBD-II) system and readiness monitors.
3. Results are sent electronically. A pass is reported to the state so you can renew online.
4. If it fails, we explain why. You’ll get the codes and our recommendation before any repair.
